Mix It Up! March began with networking, food & DJ John spinning tunes of vintage Hollywood. The first 20 who registered on-line also received autographed copies of Stacy Nelson's book ""10 On-Set Secrets SPRINGTIME- More Bunny for your Money".
CALIFORNIA PIZZA KITCHEN offered Thai Crunch Salad and Wild Mushroom Strozzapreti; STONEFIRE GRILL had Tri-Tip, Keen Green Salad with Spinach & Avocados and Corn & Arugala Salad; CASTLE CATERING with the Taco Ole Salad and SERENDIPITY offering Lavender & Lemon cupcakes. As a DIY guru, STACY NELSON also had an elaborate DIY table displays and ELIZABETH HOUSE had a great exhibit along with some of their clients selling drawing tickets for donated prizes gathered by the Mix It Up! team for fundraising. SPECIAL 'SHOUT OUT" to George Falardeau, CEO, Pasadena Media; Michael David Gallego, owner, Cheveux Hair & MakeUp Salon; Gerry Rothschild, Band Leader & Musician, Gerry Rothschild Band; and Robin McCarthy, Executive Director, Fire Family Foundation for their support in attending Mix It Up! in January, February and March.

When the program began, DEBBIE UNRUH, Founder & Executive Director provided us with some great information about ELIZABETH HOUSE. Her client, came up to talk about being young, pregnant and on the streets of Hollywood Boulevard, scared and not sure what she was going to do when she found ELIZABETH HOUSE - who took her in and gave her somewhere safe to bring her daughter into the world. It was such a moving story and touched all our hearts and gave us truly an understanding of the role Elizabeth House plays in changing lives.

Featured Guest: Hollywood Insider STACY NELSON, TRASH LASSIES had come in the day before and created a beautiful stage set to the Romanesque Room and along with the lighting it was beautiful and perfect for her presentation. Stacy has had over 64 TV appearances and 360 radio interviews and shared her wealth of knowledge and expertise. She also brought her production crew and they did a taping that night of her talk on "How to get yourself, your business or nonprofit noticed by TV and Radio" - the taping will be available soon on this website.
